Whats My DrawLength?
Arm-span div 2.5 = drawlength
Every bow will be set to desired draw length. If you want optimal
performance from your compound bow the proper drawlength is
essential. To determine draw length stand with your back straight and
arms out to the side palms facing forward. (Don't overextend your
arms when measuring just stand naturally.) Have someone measure
from the tip of one middle finger to the other. Once you have
established your span in inches divided that number by 2.5. The
quotient you get will be your drawlength in inches. If you are in doubt
about your draw-length go with a little less than more.
Arrow Measurement
The standard AMO method of measuring an arrow is to
measure from groove of the nock (where the string
rests in the nock) to the end of the arrow, not including
the insert or tip
.

1) Shoot a group of at least 5 arrows.

2) Determine if your shot group is left, right, high or low of your point of aim.

3) Move your sight in the direction of your group.
If your group is RIGHT - Move your sight RIGHT (Figure 1)
If your group is LEFT - Move your sight LEFT
If your group is HIGH - Move your sight UP (Figure 2)
If your group is LOW - Move your sight DOWN

Setup
Every Bow package is meticulously setup with no detail being overlooked. All hardware
is properly installed and adjusted for optimal performance. Before any

Paper Tuning
Before your bow package leaves our shop it will be paper tuned by our
Pro Shop Technician. Every bow will be center shot using a 3 axis  laser
alignment tool that virtually eliminates right or left windage adjustments .
Our Technician will then test shoot every bow and adjustments are
made until the paper tear indicates proper arrow flight

Compare Apples to Apples
If you're thinking about buying a bow package from another vendor that might be
cheaper compare hardware and setup. Many of the other vendors will sell cheap or
used sights, rests, quivers etc, to keep the price down.  All products sold by Valley
Archery LLC  are of high quality and come right out of the package before being
mounted on the bow. We at Valley Archery LLC understand that all products need to
perform in the field and be setup the proper way. When buying a bow package the
setup is the most important part. If the bow and hardware are not setup the correct
way the bow will not  perform at its optimal level. With 17 years in the archery industry
you can be confident that the setup will be done the proper way.

Packaging and Shipping
bow package will be packed tightly and shipped as soon as possible. Everything will be
strapped down firmly to prevent damage. Items will be shipped when payment clears.
Shipping insurance is available at customer’s expense.

What Is IBO Speed Rating

Manufactures will test the speed rating of
bows following a certain criteria. Each
manufacturer will set the bow for exactly
70# Peak Draw Weight, exactly 30” Draw
Length, and they must shoot a test arrow
that weighs precisely 350 grains.
Remember that manufactures are testing
their own bows so testing is usually done
with a bare string, lowest let-off and arrows
with a bare string, lowest let-off and arrows
are shot with no fletchings.
Parts Of A Compound Bow
Step 1:
Start off with about 18 inches of serving material. Place about
two inches of it along the bow string pointing away from the
peep. We recommend something in an end serving or small
diameter for serving Peeps like the BCY 3D End Serving it is .017
in diameter. It can be found in the String Building on the website
Step 2:
Then hand-wrap the serving around the bow string and the two inches
of serving you laid on the string pointing away from the peep, do this
five or six times wrapping the serving away from the peep. Now
continue wrapping the serving around the bow string away from the
peep. Once you have wrapped the serving several times (at least 10-15
wraps or so) pull the wraps tight, this will pull the strands of the bow
string together, no need to pull too tight as you will be pulling the
wraps tighter when finishing or “ending” the serving in the next step.
When you are confident you have enough wraps to securely hold your
peep in position you can now “end” the serving.
Step 3:
Ending the serving is achieved by using the remaining unwrapped
serving, usually about 9-10 inches or so of serving will be left not used
as of yet. Keeping all the serving you have already done tight start
about 2 inches from where the already served serving ends and leaving
a large “drop” of serving, wind the loose end around the bow string
back towards the already served serving, keeping your windings inside
the “drop” of serving going in the same clockwise or counter-clockwise
direction that you have been wrapping the serving in. When you have
wound the serving 5 or 6 times, hold the loose end of serving material
firm over the already served area then begin turning the large “drop” of
serving you left around the bow string you will continue to wind-up the
serving while un-winding the far end. When all the winding is done, pull
the loose end you have been holding firm over the served serving until
all slack is pulled out tightening your serving on the bow string and
remove the excess serving left-over.
